Tonight's the night! This evening from 5-9pm I'll be at KQED's Heavy Metal Artisan Fair!

"Step into The Crucible’s West Oakland warehouse for the Heavy Metal: Industrial Artisan Fair, an exploration of raw material and refined craft, hosted in a space built for both. This curated event features local artists and makers selling interesting forged finds and unique industrial creations and handiworks. Come to shop or try your hand at a craft by joining a workshop to build something lasting alongside a master maker."
I'll have all my sun-melted glass jewelry ready to wear - from gothic designs perfect for next week's Halloween parties to calm elegance to elevate your everyday, and perfectly giftable pieces.
You'll also find glass in numerous forms, sculptural and functional home deco in wood, metal, and clay, felted fungus (they're cute, I promise!), natural skincare, more jewelry in all shapes and sizes, and sculptures in brass, bronze, wood, and more!
But it's not just an artisan fair - you have a chance to get your own creativity on with four workshops during the event: fused glass sugar skulls, sandblasted spooky cups, throw some pottery, or carve your own relief to be filled with cast iron at The Crucible's Halloween iron pour!
So, if you're in the Bay Area, mark your calendars for the funnest, most art-filled evening of the month: KQED's Heavy Metal: Industrial Artisan Fair from 5pm-9pm tonight at The Crucible in Oakland!
Can't make the fair tonight? My online shop is always open...
